Boston

Although I've been to Boston a few times, this trip was a first for hubs. We didn't want to drive the 3.5 hours to Boston so instead we took Amtrak which was such a good decision! It was really relaxing and surprisingly, very comfortable. I was able to do some knitting and we watched a couple Netflix movies.

Like New York, Boston is a fairly walkable city with an excellent transportation system. We used the subway several times and it was easy to navigate.

We stayed at The Verb Hotel, which is next to Fenway Park. I made reservations through the phone app hoteltonight and I'm so glad we did it that way! You can only make reservations a day or two in advance, but the price for our hotel couldn't be beat! The Verb is a remodeled, retro-themed hotel, at a really great location. If you go to Boston to watch the Red Sox play, this is definitely the place to stay! While in Boston, we also walked the Freedom Trail. The hubs and I love museums and learning about history so we really enjoyed this. Later, we had an amazing seafood dinner at The Daily Catch, we would go back to Boston just to eat here again! :) Here's the yelp link http://www.yelp.com/biz/the-daily-catch-boston
